Connect Pearler to Navexa with direct sync

Learn how to connect your Pearler account to Navexa, pick the portfolio to sync, confirm your units match, and keep your performance tracking and tax reporting data up to date automatically.

Updated this week

In Navexa, you have two methods to import your Pearler data:

  1. Direct Account Link (Sync transactions directly from Pearler).

  2. CSV File Upload

Direct Account Link (Sync transactions directly from Pearler)

You can connect your Pearler account to Navexa so that trades flow automatically into your Navexa portfolio for performance tracking and tax reporting.

The connection is set up in Pearler, not in Navexa. Once Pearler is linked, trades will appear in the Navexa portfolio you selected and update as you trade.

For the latest Pearler screen layouts and any UI changes, always refer to Pearler’s own guide.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A Pearler account.

  • A Navexa account with at least one portfolio set up. If you are new to Navexa, see: Add a Portfolio

You should use the Pearler web platform for the next steps.

Step 1. Log in to Pearler

  1. Go to the Pearler website and log in to your account.

Step 2. Open Pearler’s Navexa integration page

  1. In Pearler, go to Settings.

  2. Find the Navexa integration section.

  3. Click Connect to Navexa.

Step 3. Log in or sign up to Navexa

A Navexa window will open from inside Pearler:

  • If you already have a Navexa account

    1. Enter your Navexa email and password.

    2. Click Log in.

  • If you are new to Navexa

    1. Click Register.

    2. Create your Navexa account and first portfolio.

    3. Once registration is complete, you will be taken back to Pearler.

Step 4. Choose the Navexa portfolio to sync

Back on the Pearler Settings → Third party integrations page:

  1. Under Navexa integration, select the Navexa portfolio you want Pearler to sync with from the dropdown.

  2. Click Save or Confirm if Pearler prompts you.

If you have more than one Pearler account or more than one Navexa portfolio, repeat this setup for each combination you need.

Step 5. Check holdings in Navexa

Once Pearler confirms the connection, your Pearler trades will start appearing in the selected Navexa portfolio.

To check the link is working:

  1. Log in to Navexa.

  2. Open the portfolio you linked to Pearler.

  3. Go to the Holdings screen.

  4. In a separate tab, open your Pearler Dashboard and holdings list.

  5. Compare the number of units for key holdings in Pearler and Navexa.

It is normal for portfolio values to differ slightly at a given point in time because

Pearler and Navexa can use different data feeds and pricing times. What matters is that the units match.

If your units do not match

If units are different between Pearler and Navexa, it is usually because of one or more of the following:

  1. Extra holdings in Navexa

    • You have other trades in that Navexa portfolio that did not come from Pearler (for example, a different broker or manually entered trades).

    • These extra trades will change the total units in Navexa compared with Pearler.

  2. Transferred shares into Pearler

    • You moved shares into Pearler from another broker or registry, and those historical parcels are not fully represented in Navexa yet.

    • In this case, you may need to manually add or adjust trades in Navexa so that the history matches what actually happened.

    • You can use our Adding & Importing Investment Data collection for guidance.

  3. Dividend reinvestment (DRP) settings

If something still does not look right after you have checked these items, compare it against a CSV export of your Pearler trades and review how they were imported into Navexa.

Ongoing sync and tax reporting

After you have linked Pearler and Navexa:

  • Pearler will send new trades to Navexa whenever you trade, so your chosen portfolio stays up to date.

  • You can then use Navexa’s tax tools to prepare for tax time. Start here:

Remember, Navexa provides general tax reporting tools only and does not provide personal tax advice. Always confirm your final numbers with a qualified tax adviser.
