Connect Interactive Brokers (IBKR) to Navexa to automatically keep your supported investment activity up to date.
If Navexa Doesn’t Appear in IBKR
Navexa enabled the IBKR Web Service integration on 24 July 2026. IBKR expects to make Navexa available to all customers by 31 July 2026.
If Navexa doesn’t yet appear under Performance & Reports → Third Party Reports → Third-Party Services, follow the temporary steps below.
Email [email protected] and include:
Your IBKR account number.
The following request:
Please enable my Navexa Web Service feed and provide instructions for obtaining my Token and Query ID.
IBKR will generally configure the feed and reply within one business day.
Once configured, you can obtain your Token and Query ID from the Client Portal under: User icon → Settings → Data Feeds
What The Sync Includes
The IBKR integration provides:
Ongoing daily syncs of supported trades, positions and balances.
Standard buy and sell trades for supported shares and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Support for individual IBKR accounts and accounts with multiple sub-accounts.
The integration doesn’t import:
Short selling transactions, including short and cover trade types.
Options.
Contracts for difference (CFDs).
Futures.
Other derivatives.
Unsupported investments can be added manually as Custom Investments where suitable.
Get Your Web Service Details
You’ll need a Token and Query ID from IBKR before connecting your account.
To obtain these details:
Sign in to the IBKR Client Portal.
Open Performance & Reports.
Select Third Party Reports.
Select the settings icon beside Third-Party Services.
Find and select Navexa.
Select Save.
Copy the Token and Query ID shown by IBKR.
Keep the IBKR page open in another browser tab, or save the details securely while you complete the connection in Navexa.
If IBKR enabled the feed following an email request, follow the instructions in its reply. Your details may instead appear under User icon → Settings → Data Feeds.
Connect IBKR To Navexa
Once you have your Web Service details:
Sign in to Navexa and select the portfolio you want to connect.
Open Portfolio from the left-hand menu.
Select + Add Holdings.
Search for or select Interactive Brokers.
Select Direct Account Link.
Enter the Token and Query ID supplied by IBKR.
Select Next.
Navexa will then ask you to configure your IBKR accounts.
Configure Your Accounts
Enter the IBKR account number you want to connect.
If your IBKR account has sub-accounts:
Select the option confirming that the account has sub-accounts.
Enter each IBKR sub-account number you want to connect.
For each account or sub-account:
Enter an Account Nickname to help you identify it in Navexa.
Select the Navexa portfolio it should sync to.
Set Sync From to Beginning.
Select Link Account.
Make sure each IBKR account is connected to the correct Navexa portfolio before completing the setup.
After Connecting
Navexa will automatically sync new supported IBKR activity each day.
The first sync may not appear immediately. Allow up to 24 hours for IBKR to make the data available and for Navexa to process it.
The IBKR Web Service doesn’t provide your historical trades. To complete your portfolio history, generate an IBKR Activity Flex Query CSV covering your earlier trades and upload it to Navexa.
Existing FTP Connections
Existing IBKR FTP connections can continue syncing. You don’t need to replace a working FTP connection.
IBKR no longer accepts requests to create new FTP connections. New IBKR connections must use the Web Service process described in this article.
You can move an existing FTP connection to the Web Service:
Open Settings → Connected Accounts.
Select Interactive Brokers.
Delete the existing IBKR connection.
Leave the option to delete previously imported trades unticked.
Reconnect IBKR using Direct Account Link.
Deleting the connection without deleting its imported trades won’t remove your existing holdings or transactions. Navexa will recognise transactions previously imported from IBKR and avoid importing the same records again.
