Connect your Pearler Invest account to Navexa so eligible share and ETF trades flow automatically into the portfolio you choose.
Which Pearler accounts are supported?
Direct sync supports standard Pearler Invest accounts containing directly held shares and ETFs.
Pearler Micro and Pearler Super are not supported by this connection.
CSV import is separate from direct sync and requires a transaction-level export containing details such as the symbol, trade date, quantity, price and fees. This guide does not confirm CSV export availability for Pearler Micro or Pearler Super.
The connection is set up from Pearler, not from inside Navexa.
Once connected, Pearler sends eligible trade activity to your selected Navexa portfolio whenever you trade.
For the latest Pearler screen layouts, refer to Pearler’s own integration guide.
Before You Start
You’ll need:
A standard Pearler Invest account.
A Navexa account with at least one portfolio.
Access to the Pearler web platform.
New to Navexa? Create your first portfolio before connecting Pearler (see Add a Portfolio).
Step 1. Log In
Open the Pearler website and log in to your Pearler account.
Step 2. Open Integrations
From Pearler:
Open Settings.
Select Third party integrations.
Find the Navexa integration section.
Select Connect to Navexa.
Step 3. Authorise Navexa
A Navexa window will open from inside Pearler.
Existing Navexa Customers
Enter your Navexa email address and password.
Select Log in.
New Navexa Customers
Select Register.
Create your Navexa account.
Create your first portfolio.
Return to Pearler when registration is complete.
Step 4. Choose Your Portfolio
Return to Pearler’s Third party integrations page.
Under Navexa integration:
Select the Navexa portfolio you want to connect.
Select Save or Confirm if prompted.
Choose the portfolio that represents the same owner or tax entity as the Pearler account.
If you have multiple Pearler accounts or Navexa portfolios, connect each account to the appropriate portfolio separately.
Step 5. Check Your Holdings
After Pearler confirms the connection, your trades will begin appearing in the selected Navexa portfolio.
To check the connection:
Log in to Navexa.
Open the portfolio connected to Pearler.
Review the holdings on the Portfolio page.
Open your Pearler holdings in another browser tab.
Compare the units held for several investments.
Portfolio values may differ slightly because Pearler and Navexa can use different pricing feeds or update times.
Focus first on whether the units and transaction history match.
If Units Do Not Match
A difference in units normally means part of the investment history is missing, duplicated or recorded differently.
Extra Navexa Transactions
The Navexa portfolio may contain trades that did not come from Pearler.
These could include:
Manually entered transactions.
Trades imported from another broker.
Duplicate transactions.
Holdings that belong to another account.
Review the portfolio’s transactions and remove only those you have confirmed are incorrect.
Transferred Holdings
Shares transferred into Pearler may not include their complete original purchase history through the connection.
You may need to add the original acquisition transactions manually so that Navexa records the correct:
Purchase dates.
Quantities.
Prices.
Fees.
Cost bases.
Dividend Reinvestment
A Dividend Reinvestment Plan, or DRP, can create extra units when a dividend is reinvested.
Check that Navexa’s DRP settings match what occurred through Pearler or the share registry.
Incorrect Portfolio Link
Confirm that the Pearler account is connected to the intended Navexa portfolio.
This is particularly important when you have multiple Pearler accounts, portfolio owners or tax entities.
Compare Your Transactions
For standard Pearler Invest accounts, compare Navexa against a Pearler transaction export when one is available.
Check the:
Trade dates.
Symbols.
Buy and sell quantities.
Execution prices.
Fees.
Do not use a balance report or portfolio allocation report as a substitute for transaction history.
Dividends and Distributions
Pearler direct sync sends trade activity to Navexa. It does not send separate dividend or distribution payment records.
Once the holding history is correct, Navexa can use that history to populate expected dividends and distributions in the Income area.
If income appears missing or incorrect, check that:
The holding existed in Navexa before the ex-dividend date.
The units in Navexa match your records.
The original buy date is correct.
The DRP setting matches what occurred.
Final AMIT or AMMA details have been entered for relevant ETF and trust distributions.
Pearler Micro
Pearler Micro is not supported by Pearler direct sync.
It should not normally be recorded simply by adding the listed ETF it follows. The value and performance of the Pearler Micro product may not exactly match that ETF.
You can instead:
Track Pearler Micro as one Custom Investment and update its value manually.
Track each underlying investment only when you have complete transaction-level data for every trade and rebalance.
Custom Investments do not have an automatic price feed. You’ll need to update the value using information from Pearler.
Pearler Super
Pearler Super is not supported by Pearler direct sync.
You can track it manually by:
Creating a separate Navexa portfolio for your superannuation.
Adding the account as a Custom Investment.
Recording contributions and withdrawals.
Updating its value periodically using your Pearler Super balance or statement.
Ongoing Sync
After you connect Pearler Invest:
New eligible trades will flow into the selected Navexa portfolio.
Review your units after transfers, DRP transactions or account changes.
Check your transaction history before relying on performance or tax reports.
Once your data is complete, you can use Navexa’s tax reporting tools to prepare your investment records for tax time.
