Do you have a free plan? Why not?

Find out why Navexa does not offer a permanent free plan, and how the paid plans are priced to support serious investors.

Short answer

Navexa does not offer a permanent free plan.

Instead, we offer a 14-day free trial with Premium-level features so you can properly test the platform without a credit card.

After that, Navexa is a paid service.

What we do offer for free

You can still try and explore Navexa without any ongoing commitment:

  • A 14-day free trial with access to Premium features

  • No credit card required to start

  • A demo portfolio so you can see realistic performance and tax reports

  • Read-only access to your data after your trial, so your work is not lost

If you decide Navexa is right for you, you then pick a paid plan.

Why there is no permanent free plan

There are three main reasons we do not run a forever-free tier.

1. We serve investors who take tracking seriously

Navexa is built for people who care about accurate, reliable performance and tax data over many years, not for casually checking a few prices from time to time.

Running a high-quality tracking platform for serious investors means:

  • Handling large portfolios and long histories

  • Accurately recording income, fees, corporate actions and tax outcomes

  • Investing heavily in data quality, infrastructure and product development

A permanent free plan would shift a lot of our time and resources into supporting accounts that are not committed to the product. We prefer to focus that effort on customers who rely on Navexa.

2. Quality data and infrastructure are not free

Navexa uses official market data and runs on secure, scalable infrastructure.

Behind the scenes, we pay for:

  • Market data feeds for global exchanges and crypto

  • Secure hosting, backups and monitoring

  • Ongoing development, testing and support

Those are real, ongoing costs. A large free tier would either force us to:

  • Cut corners on quality, or

  • Raise prices for paying customers to subsidise free usage

We do not want to do either. A paid-only model helps us keep the product fast, accurate and sustainable.

3. No ads, no selling your data

Because Navexa does not rely on a huge free user base, we do not need to:

  • Show you ads in the product, or

  • Sell your data to third parties

Your subscription is how we earn revenue. That keeps our incentives simple. Our goal is to make Navexa valuable enough that you are happy to pay for it.

How the paid plans are designed

Even though there is no permanent free plan, we keep the entry point low and scale up only when you need more.

At a high level:

  • Basic
Good for tracking and reporting on a single smaller portfolio.

  • Standard
For investors who have more than one portfolio and want more reporting flexibility.

  • Premium
For experienced investors and SMSFs who manage multiple entities and want deeper analytics.

  • Pro
For advisers and professionals who manage many client portfolios.

All plans include the core tracking and reporting features. You choose a higher plan when you need more portfolios, more power or more support.

You can see the full, up to date comparison on the Pricing page inside Navexa or on the website.

What if I genuinely cannot afford a plan right now?

If you are on the fence because of cost, here are a few suggestions:

  • Use the 14-day trial to fully test Navexa with your own data

  • Start on the lowest plan that fits your current portfolio

  • Review the cost against the time you save and the tax clarity you gain

If you are partway through your trial and feel you did not get a fair chance to test the platform, please feel free to contact support and explain your situation. In many cases, we can help you complete a proper evaluation.

Summary

  • Navexa does not have a permanent free plan

  • You get a 14-day free trial, no credit card required

  • Paid plans reflect the real cost of quality data, infrastructure and support

  • This lets us focus on serving serious investors without ads or gimmicks

If you are looking for long-term, accurate portfolio tracking, Navexa is designed to be a tool that is worth paying for.
