Which Navexa plan should I choose?

Quick guide to choosing a plan based on your situation, portfolio size and need for automation, tax reporting and Pro features.

Updated over a week ago

Short answer

Choose your plan based on:

  • How many portfolios or entities you want to track

  • How much reporting power you need

  • Whether you are an individual investor or an adviser

You can start on the Premium trial, then move up or down before you begin paying.

For a full feature matrix, see the separate AUD and USD plan comparison articles.

Step 1: Where are you based?

Navexa has different plan structures for:

  • Australian customers (AUD plans)

  • Global customers (USD plans)

If you are an Australian investor:

  • All AU paid plans include the core Australian tax reports.

  • Higher plans add more reports, higher limits and higher support levels.

If you are outside Australia:

  • USD plans focus on performance tracking and analytics.

  • USD plans do not include tax reporting.

Once you know which currency applies to you, you can choose a plan based on how you invest.

Step 2: How many portfolios or entities do you have?

Think about how your investments are structured.

Basic

Choose Basic if:

  • You have one portfolio.

  • You mainly want core tracking and (for AU plans) the standard tax reports.

  • You are happy without some of the advanced reports.

On AU plans, Basic does not include:

  • Unrealized Capital Gains Tax reporting

  • Manual parcel selection

  • Portfolio Contributions Report

  • Dividend Contributions Report

  • Income Calendar

On USD plans, Basic does not include:

  • Portfolio Contributions Report

  • Dividend Contributions Report

  • Income Calendar

Basic is a good fit if you want the lowest price and simple tracking.

Standard

Choose Standard if:

  • You have up to three portfolios.

  • You want more control and reporting than Basic.

  • You care about seeing future CGT impacts and contributions over time.

Compared with Basic, Standard adds:

  • For AU plans: Unrealized CGT report, manual parcel selection, Portfolio Contributions, Dividend Contributions and Income Calendar.

  • For USD plans: Portfolio Contributions, Dividend Contributions and Income Calendar.

Most investors who are past the very simple stage will be happiest starting on Standard.

Premium

Choose Premium if:

  • You manage several portfolios or entities (for example, an SMSF, trust and personal accounts).

  • You rely heavily on Navexa for analytics and reporting.

  • You want higher limits and priority support.

Premium gives you:

  • 1 to 10 portfolios.

  • More Custom Holdings Groups.

  • Priority support.

  • The same advanced report set as Standard for your region, with higher limits.

Premium is designed for serious, long-term investors who treat Navexa as part of their investment and tax workflow.

Pro

Choose Pro if:

  • You are an adviser, accountant or family office.

  • You manage many client portfolios.

  • You need tools and support at a professional level.

Pro gives you:

  • 11 or more portfolios.

  • The highest limits and priority support.

  • Everything in Premium, plus client-focused features such as a client portal on supported plans.

If you are managing money for others, Pro is usually the right place to be.

Step 3: Still unsure? Use the trial

If you are not sure which plan is right:

  1. Start your 14 day free trial with Premium features.

  2. Add your data and use Navexa as you normally would.

  3. Before your trial ends, pick the lowest plan that still covers the features and limits you actually used.

You are not charged automatically. You only start paying once you choose a plan and enter your payment details.

Simple rules of thumb

  • One portfolio, happy with core tools and lowest price → Basic

  • Up to three portfolios, want advanced reports and parcel control → Standard

  • Several entities, SMSF or trust, and heavy reporting needs → Premium

  • Advisers, accountants and firms managing many client portfolios → Pro

If you are stuck between two plans, trial Premium, then downgrade to the one that still does what you need before you subscribe.
