You can easily manage and track Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRP) in your Navexa account.

The platform automatically populates dividends and their corresponding reinvestment trades.

You’ll see the results factored into your performance calculations, showing you your true return — as opposed to just capital gains.

How to Enable DRP for a Holding

  1. Log in to your Navexa account.

  2. Navigate to your portfolio and select the relevant investment holding.

  3. Click on Settings or Edit holding.

  4. Locate the Auto Dividend Reinvestment section.

  5. Toggle Auto Dividend Reinvestment to Yes (1).

  6. Select the DRP Setting (see detailed examples) that applies to your holding (2).

    1. Round Down: Rounds reinvestment to the nearest whole share down.

    1. Round Up: Rounds reinvestment to the nearest whole share up.

    2. Round to Nearest: Rounds reinvestment to the nearest whole share.

    3. Round Down with Balance Tracking: Rounds reinvestment down, carrying over any remaining dividend balance to future DRPs.

  7. Click ‘Save’ (3) and the portfolio tracker will automatically calculate dividend reinvestments on all dividends that have not been ‘confirmed’.

Navigate back to the ‘Transactions’ tab to see a record of reinvestment trades.

How to Disable DRP for a Holding

Follow these six steps:

  1. Log in to your Navexa account.

  2. Navigate to your portfolio and select the relevant investment holding.

  3. Click on Settings or Edit holding.

  4. Locate the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) section.

  5. Toggle DRP to Disabled.

  6. Save your changes so dividends are accurately tracked as cash payments.

Important Notes

  • Ensure your DRP settings in Navexa match those set up with your broker or share registry (e.g., Computershare, Link Market Services).

  • Regularly check and update DRP settings for accurate and reliable portfolio reporting.
