What you get during the trial

When you start your 14-day free trial, you get access to our Premium plan features so you can properly test Navexa.

During the trial, you can:

  • Connect to your brokers and exchanges

  • Import your full transaction history

  • Track performance with advanced analytics

  • Explore charts and reporting tools

  • Use the Demo portfolio to preview and test the Tax Reporting features on realistic sample data

No credit card is required to start your trial.

Evaluating our Australian tax reports

Navexa’s Australian tax reports (including Capital Gains Tax and Taxable Income) are available on paid plans.

How to tell what’s available in your trial account

In Tax Reporting, any report that’s not available for your own portfolio data will appear greyed out / shaded.

During the trial, you may see these items shaded for your own portfolios:

  • Tax Reporting Overview

  • ATO MyTax

  • Capital Gains Tax

  • Taxable Income

  • Historical Cost

How to preview the tax reports during the trial

You can still open and explore the tax reports using the Demo portfolio during the trial.

  1. Use the portfolio selector (top left)

  2. Switch to the Demo portfolio

  3. Go to Tax Reporting and open any report

This lets you:

  • See the report layouts and exports

  • Check the level of detail

  • Understand how the reports work on realistic sample data

Generating these tax reports for your own portfolio data unlocks once you subscribe to a paid plan.

FAQ

What happens when the trial ends?

After 14 days, your free trial expires.

  1. You will not be automatically charged. We do not have your payment details.

  2. Your data is not deleted. All transactions and data you imported remain securely saved.

  3. Your account becomes read-only.

You can still log in and view your dashboard and past reports, but you will not be able to add new transactions or run new reports until you subscribe to a paid plan.

How to subscribe

To re-enable full access and unlock all features, including tax reports for your own data, you need to actively choose to subscribe.

From your Navexa dashboard, you will be prompted to:

  1. Select a plan (Basic, Standard, Premium or Pro)

  2. Choose a billing cycle (monthly or annual)

  3. Enter your payment details

Your subscription only starts once you complete these steps.

Why can’t I generate tax reports for my own portfolio data during the trial?

The trial is designed to let you import your history and assess Navexa’s workflows, while keeping the full tax-report generation reserved for active subscribers.

You can still fully evaluate the tax report format and detail during the trial by switching to the Demo portfolio and opening the reports there.
