How Does Navexa Compare With Sharesight in Australia?

Compare Navexa and Sharesight for Australian investors: historical imports, portfolio limits, tax reports and current pricing links.

This comparison helps Australian investors choose between Navexa and Sharesight for portfolio tracking and tax reporting. It compares the Australian plans of both platforms.

What Both Platforms Do

Both platforms let you track shares and ETFs, import historical trades, monitor dividends and prepare capital gains tax (CGT) and taxable income reports. You can add older trades from a spreadsheet in either platform.

For long histories, check imported trades, dividends, reinvestments, corporate actions and ETF annual tax statements against your original records. The quality of either platform’s reports depends on the records available and the details you confirm.

Where The Plans Differ

Navexa offers a 14-day trial, then a paid subscription. The Australian Basic plan includes one portfolio, unlimited holdings, CGT and taxable income reports, and an ATO MyTax report. Standard adds reporting tools and up to three included portfolios. Premium adds manual parcel selection and up to ten included portfolios.

Sharesight has a Free plan for one portfolio with up to ten holdings, including closed holdings. Its Tax Pack adds Australian tax reports for one portfolio, with unlimited holdings in those tax reports. Sharesight Standard includes four portfolios, unlimited holdings and tax reports. The Tax Pack’s unlimited tax-report holdings do not remove the Free or Basic plan’s separate tracking limits.

Check Navexa’s current Australian plans and prices and Sharesight’s current Australian plans and prices before choosing. Compare the plans that include the reports and number of portfolios you actually need.

Outside Australia?

This Australian plan comparison does not describe Navexa’s USD/global plans. Those plans do not include tax reporting. If you’re outside Australia, check Navexa’s USD pricing and Navexa USD/Global Plans: What's Included In Basic, Standard And Premium. Check Sharesight’s plans for your country before comparing features or prices.

Which Should You Try?

Navexa may suit you if you want unlimited holdings and Australian tax reports in its entry paid plan, including figures organised for ATO MyTax. Sharesight may suit you if a free tracker for a small portfolio or its separate one-portfolio Tax Pack meets your needs.

If you have years of trades to bring across, test a sample of your own data in each platform. Check how the imported history and reports look before moving your full portfolio. For Navexa, see Import Holdings From a Spreadsheet.
