Import Binance Spot Trades Into Navexa Using CSV

Download the correct Binance Spot Trade History CSV, then upload and review your Binance crypto trades in Navexa.

Use this guide to download your Binance Spot Trade History CSV and import supported spot trades into Navexa.

Before You Start

Use the Binance website to download the file. This export covers spot trades, not every type of Binance account activity.

Download Your Binance CSV

Download the correct Binance Spot Trade History CSV before starting the Navexa import.

  1. Log in to your Binance account on the Binance website.

  2. Select the Profile icon, then go to Orders > Spot Order.

Open the Binance profile menu and select Orders
  3. Open the Trade History tab.

  4. Select Export Trade History.

Open Spot Order Trade History and select Export Trade History in Binance
  5. Select All Time, then use the calendar to choose your date range.

  6. Select Generate and wait for Binance to notify you when the statement is ready.

  7. Select Download to save the CSV file to your computer.

Important: Use Trade History, not Order History or Binance's general Transaction History area. These reports contain different information and may not import correctly.

Export Longer Histories

Binance allows a maximum date range of one year for each generated statement.

For a longer history:

  1. Create a separate export for each date range.

  2. Make sure the date ranges do not overlap.

  3. Download and keep each original CSV file separately.

Binance allows up to five generated statements per month. Generate any remaining statements in a later month if needed.

Each statement download remains available in Binance for seven days. Download the file promptly after it is generated.

Keep The File Unchanged

Upload the original CSV downloaded from Binance. Do not copy it into Navexa's Crypto template, combine exports, change columns, or open and re-save it in a spreadsheet app.

Changing the file can cause Navexa to interpret prices, quantities or fees incorrectly.

Upload The CSV

Upload each Binance CSV into the Navexa portfolio that should contain the trades.

  1. In Navexa, select the correct portfolio.

  2. Open Portfolio from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select + Add Holdings.

  4. Search for and select Binance.

  5. Choose CSV File Upload.

  6. Upload the original Binance Spot Trade History CSV.

  7. Review the detected trades before completing the import.

If you downloaded several date ranges, upload each original CSV separately. Complete and review one import before starting the next.

Review The Trades

Before completing each import, compare the detected trades with the Binance file. Check the dates, transaction types, trading pairs, quantities, per-unit prices, fees, fee currencies and total transaction count.

Common Issues

Use these checks when the Binance CSV does not import as expected.

The File Will Not Upload

Confirm you downloaded Trade History from Orders > Spot Order and selected Binance > CSV File Upload in Navexa.

If needed, download a fresh copy and upload it without editing or re-saving it.

Older Trades Are Missing

Older trades are usually missing because one Binance statement can cover no more than one year.

Generate additional statements for the missing periods. Use separate, non-overlapping date ranges, then import each CSV separately.

A Price Looks Too High

A price may look too high if Navexa receives a changed or reformatted file and interprets the trade's total value as its per-unit price.

Do not continue the import if the price and quantity do not match Binance. Download a fresh Spot Trade History CSV and upload the untouched file through the Binance importer.
