Import CoinSpot Trades Into Navexa Using CSV

Learn how to download your CoinSpot Buys/Sells CSV file and upload it into Navexa to import your CoinSpot crypto trade history.

This article shows you how to export your CoinSpot trade history and upload it into Navexa using the CoinSpot CSV file importer.

Choose The Right Method

Navexa gives you two CoinSpot import options:

  • Direct Account Link: Use this if you want to sync CoinSpot transactions directly from your account.

  • CSV File Upload: Use this if you want to upload a CoinSpot CSV file manually.

This article covers the CSV File Upload method.

Download Your CoinSpot CSV

To import CoinSpot trades into Navexa, download the Buys/Sells CSV from your CoinSpot Order History page.

  1. Log in to your CoinSpot account.

  2. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Order History.

  4. On the Order History page, find the export buttons above the transaction table.

  5. Click Buys/Sells CSV.

  6. Save the downloaded CSV file to your computer.

Make sure you download the Buys/Sells CSV, not the Sends/Receives CSV, Card CSV, EOFY Prices, or EOFY Statements files.

Upload The CSV Into Navexa

Once you have downloaded the CoinSpot CSV file, upload it into the correct Navexa portfolio.

  1. In Navexa, select the portfolio you want to import your CoinSpot trades into.

  2. Open Portfolio from the left-hand menu.

  3. Click + Add Holdings.

  4. Search for CoinSpot.

  5. Select CoinSpot.

  6. Choose CSV File Upload.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  8. Upload the CoinSpot Buys/Sells CSV file.

  9. Review the imported trades before saving.

Before saving, check the trade dates, trade types, quantities, prices, and fees. This helps prevent incorrect balances, duplicated trades, or performance differences after import.

What The CSV Imports

The CoinSpot Buys/Sells CSV is used to import CoinSpot buy and sell trade history into Navexa.

This file is designed for trade activity. If you need to record crypto transfers, deposits, withdrawals, or movements between wallets, you may need to add those separately in Navexa.

Common Issues

I Downloaded The Wrong File

If the CoinSpot file does not upload, check that you downloaded the Buys/Sells CSV file from Order History.

Other CoinSpot files, such as Sends/Receives CSV or EOFY Statements, are not the same trade history file.

My Older Trades Are Missing

CoinSpot may only show Order History records from 1 January 2017 onwards on this page.

If you need older CoinSpot trade history, contact CoinSpot support and ask for the correct historical trade export.

My File Still Will Not Upload

If your CoinSpot CSV file still will not upload:

  • Download a fresh copy from CoinSpot.

  • Do not manually edit the file before uploading.

  • Confirm you selected CoinSpot in Navexa before uploading the file.

  • Confirm you selected CSV File Upload, not Direct Account Link.
