Overview

This guide shows how to remove an entire holding from a portfolio in the Navexa iOS app. This deletes the holding’s trades and income from that portfolio and updates performance and tax figures accordingly.

Before You Remove

• Want to delete only one trade or dividend? Open the holding and use the Trades or Income tab instead.
• Removing a holding is permanent for that portfolio. To undo it, you’ll need to re-add/import the trades.

Steps

  1. Open the Navexa app on iOS and select your portfolio.

  2. Open the holding you want to remove.

  3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right.

  4. Tap Remove from Portfolio.

  5. Read the prompt, then tap Confirm.

What Happens

• The holding (and its trades/income) is deleted from this portfolio only.
• The same asset in any other portfolio is unaffected.
• Your portfolio totals, performance and tax figures recalculate immediately.

Restore If Removed

There’s no one-tap undo. To restore the holding:
• Re-add the trades manually, or
• Re-import them via broker file/spreadsheet/email (if applicable).

Troubleshooting

Can’t see “Remove from Portfolio”?
• Make sure you’re on the holding’s Position screen and using the menu at the top-right.
• Update to the latest version of the Navexa iOS app and try again.
