Trades are the buys, sells and corporate actions that build a holding's history. Add a trade, edit one, or delete one.

Adding a Trade

From a holding's detail screen, open its trades and tap to add a new one. The form shows the holding's symbol, exchange and a live Total (or Cost Base) for types that have one.

  1. Trade TypeBuy, Sell, Split, Bonus, Consolidation, Cancellation, Return of Capital, Cost Base Increase, Cost Base Decrease or Opening Balance. The fields below change to suit it.

  2. Date — the trade date (OB Date for an Opening Balance).

  3. Quantity — shown for most types. Label adapts: Additional Shares (split/bonus), Subtracted Shares (consolidation), otherwise Quantity.

  4. Share Price — for Buy, Sell and the cost-base/capital-return types (label becomes Capital Return Value, Cost Base Increase Amount or Cost Base Decrease Amount). Tap the Closing … chip for that date's closing price.

  5. Cost Base — for an Opening Balance.

  6. Exchange Rate(optional) — only when the holding's currency differs from your portfolio's base. Tap the Rate … chip for the looked-up rate.

  7. Brokerage(optional) — for Buy and Sell.

  8. Broker(optional) — the broker/source for this trade.

  9. Notes and an attachment(both optional).

  10. Tap Save Trade.

Tip: When selling, if shares are available a Sell all … shortcut appears under the quantity field to fill your full position.

Editing a Trade

  1. Open the holding's trade list.

  2. Tap the trade. The form opens as Edit Trade with every field pre-filled.

  3. Make your changes and tap Save Changes.

Tip: Dividend reinvestment (DRP) records aren't edited as trades — tapping one opens the underlying dividend form instead, so every field prefills correctly.

Deleting a Trade

  1. Open the trade in Edit Trade.

  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Trade.

  3. At the prompt — "Are you sure you want to delete this trade? This action cannot be undone." — tap Delete to confirm or Cancel to keep it.

Deleting recalculates the holding and updates your portfolio totals.
