Answers about the locked 2026 Stock Genius Challenge, including viewing holdings, cash, scoring and requesting manual portfolio deletion.

The 2026 Stock Genius Challenge is locked, so every Stock Genius portfolio is now read-only.

Competition Status

Entries closed at midnight on 31 January 2026 (AEDT). No new entries or portfolio changes are allowed after the Entry Period.

You can still view your Stock Genius portfolio and follow its performance, but you cannot change its holdings or transactions.

Common Questions

These answers explain what the competition lock means for your Stock Genius portfolio.

Can I add another stock?

No. You cannot add stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) after the competition portfolio locks.

Can I edit, reset or delete a holding?

No. Locked Stock Genius holdings cannot be edited, reset, deleted or re-added with a different quantity.

Can I swap one stock for another?

No. Changing the ticker, quantity or weighting would change the competition entry, so swaps are not allowed after the lock.

Can I sell a holding?

No. Stock Genius is a locked competition portfolio, so you cannot add a sell trade or otherwise close a holding.

Can I delete the whole portfolio?

You cannot delete a Stock Genius portfolio yourself. Contact Navexa Support through in-app chat and ask us to delete the portfolio manually.

Deleting individual holdings is not available after the lock and would not delete the Stock Genius portfolio itself.

Where does leftover money go?

Any unallocated virtual capital remains as cash inside the locked Stock Genius portfolio. It does not move with stock prices.

How many holdings were required?

Each competition entry was required to hold exactly 10 stocks and/or ETFs.

Which markets were supported?

Stock Genius supported the ASX and US markets, including the NYSE and NASDAQ, during the Entry Period.

How is Stock Genius scored?

Winners are determined by portfolio return percentage using total return, which includes income and growth.

Do dividends and corporate actions count?

Yes. Dividends and corporate actions are handled under Navexa's methodology for the challenge.

Is there a prize?

There is no prize for the 2026 Stock Genius Challenge.

When did performance measurement begin?

Competition performance is measured from the lock date onwards. Price movements before the portfolio locked do not count.
