This guide helps you control your Navexa account security, notifications, and default experience from one place.
Open Settings
In Navexa Web, click the cog icon (top right).
Select Settings.
You’ll see these tabs: Profile, Security, Email Settings, Notifications, API Keys, View Settings.
Profile
Use Profile to update your basic account details.
(Optional) Upload or change your profile picture.
Update your Username, First name, and Last name.
Choose your Date format:
Day/Month/Year (e.g. 23 July 2025)
Month/Day/Year (e.g. July 23, 2025)
Click Save.
Security
Use Security to manage your account email and two-factor authentication.
Update your email address
Under Email address, click Edit Email.
Enter your updated email.
Save your changes.
Tip: Make sure this email is correct. It’s used for important account communications.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Enabling 2FA means you’ll be prompted for a code from an authenticator app each time you log in.
Click Enable 2FA.
Follow the prompts to set up your authenticator app.
Confirm the code to finish setup.
Email Settings
Choose what portfolio summary emails you want Navexa to send:
Weekly Portfolio Summary
Monthly Portfolio Summary
Both, or neither
Click Save once you’ve made your choice.
Notifications
Use Notifications to control different types of alerts.
Push Notifications
Push Notifications: Enable or disable all push notifications.
Marketing and Promotions
Marketing Messages: Receive general marketing and promotional messages.
Social
Referral Credits: Receive notifications when referral credits are applied.
Trading and Income
New Dividends: Receive notifications when dividends are announced or paid.
Contract Notes: Receive notifications when contract notes are received.
API Keys
Use API Keys to generate credentials for Navexa’s API.
Generate a new Navexa API key
Go to API Keys.
Click Generate New API Key.
Copy the key and store it securely.
Important:
API keys are shown only once when created.
Use your API key to authenticate with Navexa’s public API endpoints.
Include your key in requests using the X-Api-Key header.
If you lose an API key, delete it and create a new one.
