Add a Client in Navexa Pro

Learn how to add a client to your Navexa Pro account so you can manage their access and assign portfolios.

Use this guide to create a new client record in Navexa Pro.

Before You Start

In Navexa Pro, a client is the person record you manage in your Pro account.

Adding a client creates that person in your Clients list. You can then decide what to do next, such as assigning a portfolio, creating a new portfolio, or inviting the client later.

Add A Client

  1. Open Clients from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Add Client.

  3. Enter the client’s:

    • first name

    • last name

    • email address

  4. Click Add Client.

The client will now appear in your Clients list.


What Happens Next

After you add the client, you can choose the next step based on how you want to manage them.

You can:

  • create a new portfolio for them

  • assign an existing portfolio to them

  • leave them as a client only for now and come back later

Adding a client does not need to send an invitation straight away. You can add the client first and set up the rest later.


Best Practice

Use these rules when adding clients in Navexa Pro:

  • add one client per person or login

  • use the client’s real email address so they can be invited later if needed

  • do not create duplicate client records for the same email address

  • add the client first, then decide which portfolio or portfolios they should access

Does Adding A Client Send Them An Invite?

Not always.

You can add a client to your Pro account without sending them an invitation straight away.

Can I Add More Portfolios Later?

Yes.

You can add the client first and assign or create portfolios later.

Why Can’t I Add The Same Email Twice?

A client record is tied to one email address and login.

If that person already exists in your Clients list, use the existing client record instead of trying to create a duplicate.
