Changing your login email address

Update the email address you use to sign in to Navexa, and understand what’s different if you log in with Google or Apple.

This guide helps you maintain reliable access to Navexa by updating the correct email address, depending on how you originally signed up.

Important: If you sign in with Google or Apple, changing the email in Settings > Security will not switch your login method. This cannot be changed — you must continue using Continue with Google or Continue with Apple to access the same Navexa account.

You can still update the email stored on your Navexa account (used for account communication and notifications), but your Google/Apple sign-in remains the same.

Before you start

Navexa accounts must be accessed using the same sign-in method you originally used:

  • Email + Password

  • Google

  • Apple

Change your login email (Email + Password accounts)

  1. In Navexa (web), click the cog icon (top right).

  2. Go to Security.

  3. Click Edit email.

  4. Enter your new email address, then click Yes, Update Email!

  5. You'll then be logged out.

  6. Log in again using your new email + password.

Note: If you can’t remember your password after changing your email, use Forgot password? on the login screen.

Google and Apple sign in

If you sign in with Google

If you originally chose Continue with Google, your login is tied to that Google account, and you must continue using that method to access the same Navexa account.

Updating the email in Settings > Security does not switch your account to Email + Password login.

If you sign in with Apple

If you originally chose Continue with Apple, your login is tied to that Apple account (and may use Apple’s private relay email). You must continue using Continue with Apple to access the same Navexa account.

Troubleshooting

I changed my email, and now I can’t log in

  • Confirm you’re using the correct sign-in method (Email + Password vs Google vs Apple).

  • If you used Google/Apple originally, use Continue with Google/Apple on the login screen.

It says my email is already in use

That email is already linked to another Navexa account. Use a different email (or sign in to the account already using it).
