What This Report Shows

A point-in-time valuation of your portfolio, including:

  • Each holding’s units, average unit cost, total cost, current price, value, profit/loss, and P/L %.

  • Groupings by exchange (ASX, NASDAQ, etc.) plus a grand total at the bottom.

  • Cash, crypto and custom assets alongside listed holdings so you can track all your investments in one place.

Open The Report

  1. Go to Tax ReportingPortfolio Valuation.

  2. The report loads with your latest figures.

Set The “As At” Date

  • Use the date picker (top left) to choose the exact date you want the valuation for (for example 30 June for EOFY).

  • All prices, currency conversions and totals are calculated as at that date.

Understand The Columns

  • Holding / Name: The code and security name (select to open the holding).

  • Units: Quantity you hold on the selected date.

  • Average Unit Cost: Your running cost per unit after all buys/sells and fees.

  • Total Cost: Units × average unit cost.

  • Current Price: Market price on the selected date (or latest available for that date).

  • Value: Units × current price, converted to your portfolio currency where relevant.

  • Profit/Loss: Value − total cost (unrealised).

  • P/L %: Profit/Loss as a percentage of total cost.

Filters, Totals And Export

  • Filter (funnel icon) to focus the view and quickly find specific holdings.

  • Sub-totals appear by exchange; the grand total row shows your portfolio-wide cost, value and unrealised P/L.

  • Export to download a copy of the report for your records or sharing.

Tips For Common Tasks

  • EOFY snapshot: Set the date to 30 June to capture end-of-year values for your records.

  • Drill into a holding: Select the holding code (e.g., FMG) to open its detail page.

  • Foreign holdings: Figures include foreign exchange conversion as at the chosen date.

Notes And Accuracy

We crunch the numbers so you don’t have to, but prices and exchange rates can differ from broker statements depending on market sources and timing. If anything looks off, check your transactions and corporate actions first.
