Navexa auto-detects and estimates your holdings' dividends; you can also add, edit, and confirm them by hand from a holding's Dividends screen.

View Your Dividends

  1. Open a holding and tap through to its Dividends screen.

  2. The top shows a Total Income tile and a bar chart of payments; below is the list, newest first, with amount and date.

  3. Use the date pill in the header to change the period — list and chart update to match.

Confirm Auto-Detected Dividends

Estimated dividends stay unconfirmed until you check them, so your tax figures stay accurate.

  • Tap a row's confirm action to confirm one, or Confirm All ({count}) at the top of the list to confirm every unconfirmed dividend.

Tip: Confirm dividends before relying on tax reports — the Tax Overview tracks unconfirmed dividends as issues to resolve.

Add a Dividend Manually

  1. On the Dividends screen, tap the + (Add) button in the header.

  2. Fill in the Add Dividend form (see below) and tap Record Dividend.

Form fields:

  • Ex-dividend date and Paid date — both required.

  • AUD holding: Franked, Unfranked, Franking Credits.

  • Foreign-currency dividend: Net Payment, Foreign Tax Withheld, Exchange Rate (with a suggested rate you can tap to apply).

  • Non-AUD portfolio holding: a single Dividend received field.

  • Additional Fields (AUD holdings) — optional collapsible section for trust/AMIT components: Foreign Income, Trust Income, Tax Deferred, capital gains, CGT Concession, TFN Withholding, and more.

  • Dividend Reinvested — tick if reinvested (see Manage DRP Settings); Number of Shares and Share Price then appear, often with a suggested DRP price.

  • Exclude from Tax — leave this dividend out of tax calculations.

  • Notes — optional free text.

A Totals section shows live Net Payment and Gross Payment as you type.

Edit, Reset, or Delete a Dividend

  1. Tap any dividend to open the Edit Dividend form; change fields and tap Save Changes.

  2. Reset dividend restores original imported values, discarding manual changes.

  3. Delete dividend removes it permanently. Both ask you to confirm first.
