You can add extra portfolios to your Navexa subscription when you need to track more entities, accounts, family members, SMSFs, trusts, companies, or investment portfolios.
How Extra Portfolios Work
Extra portfolios increase the number of portfolios available on your current Navexa plan.
Each plan includes a set portfolio limit. Once you reach that limit, you can either add extra portfolios to your current subscription or upgrade to a higher plan.
Extra portfolios are available on both AUD and USD subscriptions.
You can add a maximum of 20 extra portfolios to an eligible subscription.
Navexa Pro does not use extra portfolio add-ons because Pro is already priced per portfolio.
Add From Billing
You can add extra portfolios from your account billing area.
Click the Account icon in the top-right corner.
Select Billing & Subscription.
Under Plan & Limits, find Portfolio limit.
Click the + button to increase your portfolio limit.
Review the amount shown.
Select Save to confirm the change.
Navexa will calculate the cost before you confirm. This includes the amount payable today and the ongoing amount added to your subscription.
Add From Manage Portfolios
You can also add a portfolio from the portfolio management area.
Open the portfolio selector.
Select Manage Portfolios.
If you're at your portfolio limit, Navexa will show a message at the top of the page.
Select Add Portfolio.
Create the new portfolio as normal by entering name and the Tax Residency.
Review the cost shown.
Confirm the payment by clicking Add portfolio $pro-rated charge amount.
This option is useful when you're already trying to create another portfolio and have reached your current limit.
How Billing Is Calculated
Navexa calculates extra portfolio charges based on your subscription currency, billing frequency, and next renewal date.
For annual subscriptions, the amount charged today is calculated pro rata based on the time remaining until your next annual renewal date.
For monthly subscriptions, the same logic applies, but the pro rata amount is based on your next monthly billing date.
After that, the extra portfolio cost is added to your normal subscription renewal.
Example
If your plan includes three portfolios and you increase your portfolio limit to four, Navexa will show:
The number of portfolios being added.
The amount payable today.
The ongoing annual or monthly cost.
The pro rata amount based on your next billing date.
For example, an annual AUD subscription may show a pro rata amount payable today, then the full extra portfolio amount added from the next renewal.
Common Issues
Use these checks if you cannot add extra portfolios or are deciding whether to upgrade instead.
Why Can't I Add Portfolios?
Extra portfolios are only available on eligible current subscriptions.
If you're on a Long Term Investor plan or deal, Navexa will show a message asking you to contact support. Extra portfolios may need to be handled by the Navexa team for this type of account.
If you're on a legacy plan, extra portfolio add-ons are not available on that pricing. To add extra portfolios, you'll need to move to Navexa's current pricing first.
Should I Add Or Upgrade?
Adding extra portfolios is best when you only need more portfolio capacity.
Upgrading may make more sense if you also need features from a higher plan, such as:
More advanced reporting.
More custom holding groups.
Priority support.
Client management.
Team access.
Billing options.
Pro features.
If you manage client portfolios or need adviser-style workflows, Navexa Pro may be a better fit than adding extra portfolios to an individual plan.
Pro Plan Note
Navexa Pro does not support extra portfolio add-ons.
Pro is priced per portfolio and starts from five portfolios. This means the minimum Pro subscription is based on five portfolios, billed annually or monthly depending on your selected billing frequency.
