Overview
If you’ve only reinvested some dividends (not all) for a particular holding, you can record that directly on the dividend itself.
This ensures Navexa accurately tracks your cash vs. reinvested dividends, without applying DRP to the entire holding.
How to Enable DRP for a Single Dividend
Go to your Navexa account and open the relevant portfolio.
Open the holding that paid the dividend.
Click the Income tab.
Locate the dividend you want to update.
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) at the right of that dividend line.
Select Edit.
On the Update Dividend form, scroll down to the Dividend Reinvested section.
Tick or enable Dividend Reinvested.
The number of shares and reinvestment price will auto-populate based on the dividend and share price.
Notes may appear showing how the reinvestment amount and price were calculated.
Click Update Dividend to save.
The dividend will now be recorded as a reinvestment trade in your portfolio.
How to Revert or Reset a Dividend Reinvestment
If you need to undo a DRP entry:
This will restore the dividend to its original cash payment state.
Important Notes
Enabling DRP at the dividend level only affects that specific payment.
To enable DRP automatically for all future dividends on a holding, see our related article:
