What You’ll Achieve

Bring all your Stake Australia trades into Navexa — automatically for new trades and in bulk for your history.

Key Point: Contract note forwarding only captures trades made after forwarding is correctly set up. To import past trades, use the CSV upload.

Before You Start

  • Sign in to your Stake account.

  • Sign in to Navexa and open the portfolio you want to update.

  • Know which email inbox receives your Stake trade confirmations.

Connect Stake In Navexa

  1. In your portfolio, click Add Holdings.

  2. Choose Import From Broker/Account.

  3. Search for and select Stake Australia.

  4. Pick one (or both) of the import options below.

Option 1: Contract Note Importer (New Trades Only)

This keeps future trades flowing into Navexa automatically.

  1. On the Stake Australia page, choose Contract Note Importer.

  2. Copy your portfolio’s unique import email address.

  3. In your email provider (e.g., Gmail/Outlook), create a forwarding rule to automatically forward Stake Trade Confirmation emails (with the contract note attached) to that address.

  4. Save/activate the rule.

  5. When you place your next trade, the contract note will be forwarded and Navexa will add the trade to your portfolio. Allow a few minutes for processing.

Important: This method does not backfill previous trades or emails. If you’ve just enabled forwarding and nothing appears, that’s expected until your next trade arrives.

Option 2: CSV File Upload (Historical Trades)

Use this once to bring in your past activity from Stake.

  1. On the Stake Australia page, choose CSV File Upload.

  2. In a new tab, log in to Stake and go to Tax & Documents.

  3. Download the Investment Activity Statement report (CSV).

  4. Return to Navexa, drag and drop the file into the uploader (or click Browse Files), then click Upload File.

  5. Review the summary and confirm the import.

After Importing

• Repeat the CSV upload if you have separate historical files.
• You can import from other brokers the same way, or Add Trade Data Manually for anything not covered.
• Navexa de‑duplicates identical trades to avoid doubles.

Troubleshooting

No trades after enabling forwarding?

  • Forwarding only works for new trades. Use CSV File Upload for your history.

  • Check the rule targets Stake trade confirmations and that attachments are included.

  • Confirm you used the correct portfolio import email address.
