What The Report Does

The ATO myTax report brings together tax figures from your Navexa portfolio for a selected Australian financial year.

It can help you review:

  • realised capital gains and losses

  • net capital gain

  • taxable investment income

  • dividends and distributions

  • franking credits

  • foreign income

  • foreign income tax offsets

  • withholding amounts

  • relevant ATO myTax labels

The report is designed to help you review the investment-related figures you may need when completing your Australian tax return.

Navexa does not lodge your tax return or enter these figures into the ATO portal for

you.

Common Issues

Why Are Figures Missing?

Figures may be missing if the underlying portfolio data is incomplete.

Check whether:

  • trades are missing

  • dividends have not been confirmed

  • ETF, managed fund or trust AMIT/AMMA data has not been entered

  • foreign income or withholding amounts are missing

  • the wrong financial year is selected

  • the portfolio is not set up in AUD

Start from the Tax Overview page if you want to check tax readiness and fix missing data.

Why Are Figures Different?

Figures in the ATO myTax report may differ from broker reports, issuer statements or accountant records if the data in Navexa is incomplete or recorded differently.

Differences can happen when:

  • income has been updated after the original payment date

  • annual tax statement components differ from cash distributions

  • DRP entries have not been reviewed

  • AMIT/AMMA data has not been entered

  • foreign income or withholding amounts differ

  • CGT sale allocation settings are different
