Why your NXE price might look wrong in Navexa
NexGen Energy uplisted from NYSE American to the New York Stock Exchange in early March 2022, while keeping the ticker code NXE.
If your NXE holding in Navexa was created before or around this time, it may still be linked to the old NXE:AME listing. When that happens, you might see:
An outdated market price for NXE
A large unrealised loss or 100 percent loss showing in Portfolio Contributions
Confusing differences between Navexa and your broker or another data source
The fix is to point your holding to the active NXE:NYSE symbol using the Rename Symbol tool.
How to update your NXE holding
Open the portfolio that contains your NXE holding.
Click into the NXE holding to open the holding overview screen.
In the top right, click Actions and choose Rename Symbol.
In the Stock Symbol search box, type NXE.
In the results list, select the active NXE:NYSE NexGen Energy Ltd. Common Shares entry.
Do not select the option marked Delisted.
Click Update to save your changes.
What happens after you rename the symbol
Once you have renamed the symbol:
Your NXE holding will pull live market data from the active NYSE listing.
The holding value and performance figures will update to match the correct price.
Any buys and sells already recorded for NXE will stay attached to the holding. You are only changing the market listing Navexa uses for prices, not your trade history.
If you still see unexpected figures after updating the symbol, check that you picked the non-delisted NXE:NYSE entry and then refresh the page.
