Why Spaceship Can’t Be Synced Automatically

Spaceship doesn’t currently provide a way for Navexa (or any other platform) to sync directly with their system.

They:

  • Don’t issue trade confirmation emails.

  • Don’t allow CSV downloads of your buy/sell transactions.

  • Don’t publicly publish unit prices or pricing data.

Because of this, Navexa can’t automatically import or update your Spaceship portfolio.

How to Add Your Spaceship Portfolio Manually

You can still track it by adding a Custom Investment in Navexa.

  1. Go to Add Investment → Custom Investment.

  2. Give it a name like Spaceship Explorer Portfolio.

  3. Manually enter your buy and sell trades.

  4. Add any dividends or distribution reinvestments (DRPs).

  5. Update the price manually whenever it changes (for example, based on the Spaceship app).

This allows you to keep a record of your performance, even though updates aren’t automatic.

Note on Spaceship Fees

Spaceship charges a monthly fee by selling small units from your portfolio.

To keep your records accurate, you can add these as small Sell transactions (with the corresponding date and value shown in the Spaceship app).

Summary

Because Spaceship is a custodial, fractional investment platform, it doesn’t share trade or pricing data externally.

Navexa supports manual tracking through Custom Investments, which lets you record your portfolio’s history and adjust values as needed.
