If you have recently re-synced your Pearler account and are seeing duplicate trade entries for your holdings, this guide explains why this is happening and how to resolve it.
Why is this happening?
Pearler has recently updated their direct integration protocol to improve data stability. They now transmit a unique identification number for every trade.
Historical Trades: Trades imported into Navexa prior to this update do not possess this unique ID.
New Syncs: When you re-sync, Navexa pulls the trade history again—this time attached to the new unique IDs.
Because the historical trades lack the ID, the system cannot automatically match them to the new data, resulting in what looks like two identical trades.
Identifying the Duplicates
You can easily distinguish between the "old" entry and the "new, stable" entry by looking at the trade list icons:
The Correct Entry (Keep): The trade displaying the Pearler Logo (cyan icon). This entry contains the unique ID and will prevent duplicates in future syncs.
The Legacy Entry (Delete): The trade without the logo.
How to Fix It
Depending on your account status and the number of duplicates, you can choose one of the following methods.
Option 1: The "Side-by-Side" Method (Recommended)
If your subscription plan has an available portfolio slot, this is the safest way to resolve the issue as it allows you to verify the data before removing your old portfolio.
Create a new, empty Portfolio in Navexa.

Connect your Pearler integration to this new portfolio.
The integration will pull your entire history fresh using the new protocol. This will result in a clean history with zero duplicates.
Once you have verified the data in the new portfolio is correct, you can delete the old portfolio containing the duplicates.

Option 2: Delete & Start Over
If you do not have a spare portfolio slot available, you can delete your current portfolio and start a fresh one.
⚠️ Important: This will permanently remove all data, manual edits, and cash records associated with the existing portfolio.
Delete your existing portfolio.

Create a new, empty portfolio.

Connect the Pearler integration. The fresh sync will import your history with the correct unique IDs and no duplicates.
Option 3: Manual Cleanup
If you prefer to maintain your existing portfolio setup (for example, if you have significant manual data you do not want to lose), you will need to manually remove the legacy entries.
Navigate to the Trades tab of the affected holding.
Locate the duplicate pairs.
Delete the row that does not have the Pearler logo.

Keep the row that has the Pearler logo.
Note: It is important to keep the entry with the logo. Because this entry contains the unique ID, keeping it ensures that future automatic syncs will recognize the trade and will not duplicate it again.
