Once you have a client added into Navexa, the next step is to add a portfolio to the client.
This is so you can start getting their investment data together for performance tracking and tax reporting.
How to add a portfolio to a client
Step 1: Navigate into the client.
Step 2: Click 'Add New Portfolio' at the top right of the Portfolios section.
Step 3: Fill out all the fields:
1) Give the portfolio a name, E.g. SMSF
2) Select the Tax Residency of the portfolio
3) Set the entity type, like individual or SMSF (this affects the CGT concession rate in tax reporting)
4) Set the end of financial year date
5) Click Create Portfolio
You will now see the newly created portfolio in the client's Portfolios section.
